This is an interesting idea that you may find useful. What if the higher-being-bodies each had, higher-being-souls and higher-being-minds? Well, if that were true, would each one want to speak? The answer I have found is negative. Only one voice per human. God does not speak like a human, and neither do the higher-being-bodies. Nevertheless, do they need nourishment? Food? I have found they do things when encouraged to do them... Could we encourage them to speak? Actually, it seems they do not ever speak in the same way as the physical. The carnal. It seems that each has its own language. It is said in _Views from the Real World_ that the horse knows two words (emotional/astral/natural body/center) "left" and "right" - and Mr. Gurdjieff also said that the horse is usually uneducated. There are clues here and there about the higher being bodies that I personally find very interesting. No one is certain about all matters. Nobody knows everything. One must take what is useful and leave the rest behind. Gurdjieff often urged people to verify and validate - or prove/disprove - what he taught. Back to my point in this idea-file... There are only so many possibilities, even if there are souls and minds for each body. In fact, there are 12. 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 Mind Body Soul - Physical Mind Body Soul - Astral Mind Body Soul - Mental Mind Body Soul - Causal I think we believe that men and women can make all four bodies, if that is their desire. Some people would rather stick with just one body, and if that describes your position, you should not fret that others may have more than one body. Some people would call this multiple personalities. It is not multiple personalities, but multiple minds. In _Psychology of Man's Possible Evolution_ by P.D. Ouspensky, he claims that there are four minds in every human... Moving, Emotional, Intellectual, and Sexual minds. I mention this to broaden the original scope of the question: "Do higher bodies have their own souls and own minds?" I have searched everywhere for everyone's opinion on this very important question. And it seems I always end up without an answer. So, it seems I must conclude that although they do not speak in the same way as the physical; (in other words, they do not use words and phrases; and cannot even be taught them) they do have a language and a discourse with the universe. They do really exist. I can't explain it better... they do speak, but not in our language. They do interact with others on their respective planes... They can communicate with others, but they do not seem to communicate with each other. This is the point of my work at the present time. I hope you enjoyed it. :) ... now, I was wondering, as an addition to what was previously put... If I were speaking to someone, inside my head, besides me... Would that not be my higher body? It says it is me, and it tells me things. Here I must mention that there have been many theories I have read about things that speak to you in your head. There is the idea of the "Magical Mentor" from Mr. Cobb's work, _New Avatar Power_... for instance. There is the idea of angels or archangels or demons. There is the idea that one can be in a revelatory state and receive information from higher powers, if not God, Himself. This is a hard thing to accept; but when you hear voices, they are always other people. Other human beings. This is what I currently believe. Now, there is one exception to this, and it is a very important exception. One MAY separate oneself from oneself. What does this mean? One may act. One may exercise their free will however they want (without hurting others)... Point being... (also from _Views From the Real World_ available at www.holybooks.com right now, respecting copyrights... they let us have it right now) I have bought it twice, I love it, anyways... Point being Gurdjieff says all grown up people can separate themselves from themselves. There is an interesting article about this in that book which I will not go into here. This is not the same, however, I do not believe at present, as the higher bodies speaking to you. I think that is other people fooling around with one, but I could easily just be retarded in this area. I also do not know everything, and furthermore, if you want to talk to yourself, there is no reason not to separate yourself from yourself and do it! I believe it is just not real. How could I get away with typing this, with my higher-being-bodies present? I am a truthful seeker... and I do not lie on purpose or intentionally _ever_ to the public. And I barely ever lie to my family and friends either! Like ever, really. I tell the truth. Sometimes, when one speaks the truth, they should have their foot in the stirrup - because most people cannot handle the truth. The truth is, reality is what you make of it. And if you speak to yourself, and you have a working system of that, just be sure it is not others fooling you, and/or causing you to spiral out of control into a mental asylum, prison, doing illegal things, or some pit of hell because you broke too many commandments. God bless.
